20th Anniversary Ceremony of VINATA and getting the Third Rank Labor Medal Awarding
On June 21, 2013, 20th Anniversary of VINATA and Third Rank Labor Medal Awarding Ceremony was solemnly held at Melia Hotel Hanoi.

It was VINATA’s pleasure to welcome the presence of Mr. Dinh La Thang (Member of Central Party Committee, Minister of Ministry of Transport), Mrs. Tran Thi Ha (Vice Minister of Ministry of Home Affairs, Chief of Central Emulation and Commendation Committee), Mr. Cao Lai Quang (Standing Vice Minister of Ministry of Construction), Mr. Yasuaki Tanizaki (Japanese Ambassador to Vietnam), Mr. Vu Mao (former Chairman of National Assembly’s Office, Chairman of Foreign Affairs Committee of National Assembly), Mr. Vo Hong Phuc (former Minister of Ministry of Planning and Investment), Mr. Nguyen Manh Kiem (former Minister of Ministry of Construction), Mr. Ngo Thinh Duc (former Vice Minister of Ministry of Transport, chairman of Vietnam Association of Bridge and Road), Mr. Mori Mutsuya (General Manager of JICA in Vietnam), representatives of Central and Hanoi Authorities, representatives of more than 200 foreign investors in Vietnam who are traditional clients of VINATA as well as the leaders of VINATA for the last 20 years.
For more than 20 years of operation and development, VINATA has overcome difficulties to obtain remarkable achievements. From the starting point as one of the very first joint ventures in the construction field in Vietnam with initial total investment capital of USD 3.18 million, VINATA has become one of the leading construction contractors in Vietnam with the total revenue of more than USD 100 million per year. VINATA has also paid approximately USD 15 million to the State Budget and proactively contributed to the social and economic development of Vietnam.
At the ceremony, Mrs. Tran Thi Ha (Vice Minister of Ministry of Home Affairs, Chief of Central Emulation and Commendation Committee) awarded the Third Rank Labor Medal to VINATA; Mr. Cao Lai Quang (Standing Vice Minister of Ministry of Construction) awarded Campaign Medal “For the Construction of Vietnam” and Certificate of Merit to Mr. Kuwabara and Title of “Competitive Soldier in Construction Industry” to Mr. Nguyen Son Hai for their contribution to VINATA’s achievements in particular and to Vietnamese construction industry in general; Mr. Dinh La Thang (Minister of Ministry of Transport) granted Certificate of Merit to TAISEI Corporation and Mr. Taiji Yanai (General Manager of TAISEI’s Representative Office in Vietnam), Mr. Seiichiro Kuwabara (General Director of VINATA) for their contribution to the construction and development of traffic infrastructure in Vietnam.

20th Anniversary remarks an important milestone of VINATA’s development. This is also the year TAISEI Corporation celebrates its 140th Anniversary, VINACONEX celebrates its 25th Anniversary and the two Governments celebrate 40 years of Vietnam-Japan Relationship. We do hope that VINATA and its clients will keep trying to achieve greater successes in the future and contribute more to the social and economic development of Vietnam.
