Journey of youths to motherland’s islands and sea

From May 2, 2013 to May 14, 2013, upon receiving approval of VINATA Party Committee, Managing Directors and VINATA Trade Union, Mr. Luong Minh Hung, on behalf of VINATA Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, has taken part in the “Journey of youths to motherland’s island and sea”, which is organized by the Central Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union to 6 islands (Song Tu Tay, Son Ca, Nam, Yet, Sinh Ton, Sinh Ton Dong, Truong Sa), 4 submerged islands (Da Nam, Da Thi, Co Lin and Da Tay C) and 2 oilrigs DK1-11 and DK1-14 within the territory of Truong Sa province.

The journey aims to propagandize and educate the youths about patriotism, citizen consciousness, consciousness of taking responsibility in protecting the country’s jurisdiction and sovereignty over motherland’s sea and islands. Besides, the journey is also designed for the purpose of encouraging the soldiers and people living in Hoang Sa province to protect the motherland territory.

All staff and employees of VINATA donated a total amount of VND 83,850,000 to the soldiers and people living in Hoang Sa province. Youth Union Secretary Luong Minh Hung already gave such amount of money to the soldiers and people there on behalf of VINATA.
